The man who was one of the first pioneers of DJ’ing, perfected the art of scratching records on a turntable and brought hip hop to the world as we know it, is coming to bring the house down at Chi Night Club.
Grandmaster Flash is going to be live in Dubai at Chi Club (Blue Room) doing what he does best – Playing incredible Hip Hop tunes, MC’ing and DJ’ing.
A ‘Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’ inductee (First Hip Hop artist to ever receive this honor), Grandmaster Flash started way back in the day when people referred to the art of hip hop as ‘what is this noise!?’.
Grandmaster Flash inspired a whole genre of rap stars (2pac, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Dizzee Rascal Gucci Mane and more) that would not be around if it wasn’t for this hip hop dynamo. Grandmaster Flash has been a part of the infamous ‘Sugarhill Gang’ and of course, the ‘Furious Five’.
Grandmaster Flash (Real name: Joseph Saddler) got into DJ’ing after noticing his father’s love for collecting records. Not long after, Joseph was playing at parties in High Schools around Bronx, New York (Where he grew up at).
With the Urban Music Lifetime Achievement Award, BET Icon Award and countless others, Grandmaster Flash will be definitely making history here at Chi night club.
