Zane Lowe in Dubai

Zane Lowe originally named Alexander Zane Reid Lowe was born on 7 August 1973 and is famously known as ‘Zipper’. He is a radio DJ and television presenter who was born in New Zealand, before he moved to England. He presents the BBC Radio 1′s evening slot show, where he plays an assortment of different music that includes rock, punk, drum, and hip hop.

He has also presented the MTV Rocks show Gonzo as he had been a former VJ presented for the first time on channel MTV since 1997. However, gonzo initially presented a random collection of presenting and clips which is now evolved to a primetime show that features regular musical guests and interviews. He presents the show in a laid back manner compared to his radio show where the background is turned into blue and the very notorious brown couch which has become the identity of the show.

Zane has won a number of awards that include the best radio show and best TV show at the NME awards 2006. He also received the best radio show NME award in the years 2007 and 2008 which witnessed his constant success. Chris Moyles; who is a colleague at Radio 1 refers the best radio shows as the Zane Lowe award being aware of his constant wins over the years. He also won the gold award in The specialist music program award and music broadcaster of the year categories at Sony Radio Academy awards in the year 2006, 2010 and 2011.

The concept of playing the masterpieces which are considered to be a bonafide classic by Zane and his team and a one whole week of his show is dedicated to these masterpieces. Lowe currently resides in London alongside his wife and two sons, Jackson and Lucius.

Yolanda Be Cool in Dubai

Yolanda Be Cool is an Australian band consisting of Sylvester Martinez and Johnson “Durango Slim” Peterson. They teamed up with an Australian producer named Duncan MacLennan also known as DCUP to release an international super blockbuster single famous as “We No Speak Americano” on the indie Australian label Sweat It Out they founded, sampling on a 1956 [neapolitan dialect] hit “Tu vuò fà l’americano” by Renato Carosone and written by Carosone and Nicola “Nisa” Salerno.

It proved to be a milestone and topped a number of music charts such as British, Spanish, German, Mexican, Danish, Swiss, and Ecuadorian so far. It also reached the Top five in Australia, France, Italy, Spain and Norway. It was regarded to be a chart hit in Colombia, New Zealand, Mexico, Peru, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Argentina, Venezuela, Honduras, Costa Rica and several other countries. The video was shot and directed by Andy Hylton at Lutimedia. Prior to the hit, the group had collaborated with DCUP to remix their hit known as Afro Nuts in the year 2009.

The name of the album is a reference to the film Pulp Fiction, where the character Jules is played by Samuel L. Jackson who shouts “Yolanda, be cool!” to a female who is an armed robber named Yolanda. The character was played by Amanda Plummer. Yolanda Be Cool has received two ARIA Music Awards in the year 2010 which received nominations that included, “Best Dance Release” and “Most Popular Australian Single” for “We No Speak Americano”.

The group uses social media network such as Facebook, twitter, My space and personal blogs to communicate to their fans and other stake holders interested about their future plans, concerts, shows, personal experience, emotional rollercoaster’s an upcoming projects that lead to an extended demand in the market for the upbeat and grooving music.
